A great view of the monuments and battlefield from "Little Top"
This diorama is  the town of Gettysburg as it was at time of the great battle.

Martin's Chips and Harley Davidson factory tours - York PA

We watched potato chips being made from raw potatos to chips, packing and delivery.
We tasted warm chips as they came off the conveyor.
We toured the making of the Harley from raw material to the finished
bike being tested on a dyno and loaded on a trailer for delivery.
It is mostly made by robots!

Hershey TT Park

Hershey Thousand Trails.  A beautiful park.
We've been "keeping track" of this tree as the leaves changed colors.
It was 1/2 green when we arrived a week ago.
This park is by far the nicest we've stayed in since leaving home.
It has more amenities than we can possibly take advantage of in the next week!
This was a great choice to call home for 2 weeks.
We highly recommend it, if you come to PA!

UnionTunnel Canal - Lebanon, PA

On a "cold" day with no plans, we decided to take the Union Tunnel Canal cruise.
(Wil and a volunteer, "he claims native Indian", in charge.)
The tunnel of this canal is the oldest in the United States.
An interesting history!
We had some 'silent, but very friendly' escorts during our ride:
Buddy (the larger one), and Hobo.

Hershey Museum, Hershey PA

The Museum was terrific!  Hershey no longer has factory tours, but the museum explains all.
This billionaire gave his whole fortune to charity before he died.

Hershey started a K-12 school for the underprivelaged
which is still in existence today with over 1200 students.
It is entirely funded through his efforts.
The 2-story lobby is really impressive, as well as the whole experience!
A "sweet" story....for sure.

Valley Forge, PA

We spent a day here and took a trolley tour around the park,
which is the best way to see and appreciate it!
This is an in-the-ground baking oven that the soldiers used for making bread.
A demonstration of musket firing.
.
Wil in front of Washington's house during his stay at the Forge.

New York City Tour

A beautiful campground where we stayed while visiting NYC.
The overwhelming Times Square!
Judy waiting to board the ferry to Statue of Liberty.
The "new immigrant".   As part of the tour, we had lunch here.
This was our last stop and quite amazing!
The skyline of NYC.  The tallest building is the Freedom Tower.
It is till under construction.

Mohegan Sun Casino, CT

The Mohegan Sun, which is said to be the second largest casino in the world!
Awesome, and "fun" when you WIN!
Our view from the camping site....the Thames River.
A "glass"  fountain in the entrance lobby.
Our "Farewell" escorts.

Cape Cod, MA

We arrived in Massachusetts on the 16th and are camping in Cape Cod.
Our first endeavor (on the 17th) was a visit to Provinceton, which is at the tip of the penninsula.
Wil enjoying the beach.
This is Main Street - one way and VERY crowded.

Me...reluctantly on my way to the car.  Never enough time to SHOP!

Orland, ME

Lobster house Trenton, ME.  A lot of work for this meal!!!
It was highly recommended to us and lived up to the expectations.
These are the boiling pits outside, and the live lobsters we picked were cooked there.
Our home in Orland ME for 5 days while we toured Acadia Ntl Park and other places.

Maine and Acadia Ntl Park

In the park it was cold and windy.  Atop "Cadillac Mountain"
the views were breathtaking!
Judy enjoyed the special views on the trail atop the mountain.
