Pittsburg PA
Mountain Top RV Park is just that.....on top of a mountain and what a view! While here we met a very nice couple (Bob and Joanne, pictured with their dog, Mickey), and they invited us to go to the "Strip" (market) one day. A great experience, rain and all, which consisted of approx. 3 blocks of sidewalk vendors and stores to browse through. As you can tell, the skies were 'black' with rain clouds and it did that.....RAIN almost every day. The 4th of July was spent cleaning the RV without fireworks until Sunday the 5th. Oh well. Nice but we don't know why. Anyway, it was a very enjoyable stay!!! We're now on our way to Ohio. See you later.

Well I definitely have to comment on Pittsburgh....my hometown! Interestingly there is a Klavon Ice Cream (and an oldtime pharmacy) store who we thought was related to me...but he was not. In this ice cream store is a mark on the wall at least 12 ft high where the Johnstown flood had hit!
We miss you bunches! Got back from our cruise and heading to Laughlin next week for a few days. Hopefully we'll see you soon?
Hugs!
Jan & John
